Naish’s Story: Overcoming the Consequences of FGM and Child Marriage

This girl underwent FGM while at 9years old. She was married off to a 60 year old man while at 10. She got pregnant at 11 years and due to effects of fgm, while giving birth at home( no hoapital for 100miles radius) Naish lost her baby.

In addition, she became physically disabled both legs and right hand.

We brought her to Nairobi for special treatment and the physician said that her nerval system was injured and she needs physiotherapy and walking aid. We managed to buy for her walking aid.

She is still struggling to walk
